Ix Chel Attunement

Description

Pronounced “Ee Shell” this attunement connects you with one of the greatest Goddess’s of the Mayan Civilisation.  Ix Chel is the Goddess of the Moon but she is also known as the Goddess of Childbirth and Rainbows. In ancient times, it was believed that the Lunar Eclipse was a great threat to Pregnant Women, causing their children to be born with defects. Thankfully we have moved on from this belief but the Goddess Ix Chel can still be called upon by pregnant women or during childbirth. Ix Chel “Lady Rainbow” and the wife of the supreme Mayan Deity, was the Mother Goddess of the Moon and the Goddess of Medicine. Ix Chel encourages us to take control and to acknowledge the Negative Forces that affect our lives.
