The 2nd initiation into the Reiki method of natural healing gives you the skills to practice Reiki on others while also opening your energy channels at a deeper level. You will also receive your 3 Reiki symbols during your attunement. These symbols are energetically encoded into your Auric Field during this level. There are 3 symbols {Power, Mental & Emotional and Distant Healing}. You are encouraged to use these symbols to bring the Universal Energy of Reiki into your everyday lives in more practical ways. The symbols can also be used to help you to provide Reiki over long distances or to send healing wherever it is needed in the world.

What to expect during the 2nd level attunement:

The 2nd level attunement is typically given in one single initiation with a focus on opening up the Heart Chakra, the Midpoint between the Physical and Spiritual Chakras. It is highly recommended that during this attunement, you focus your attention and your hands on the Heart Chakra. It is recommended to take at least 6 months after this attunement before you move to the Master attunement but this can lessen if the energies are settling well within your etheric background.
